Focus on healthy skin
The idea for Cede Botanic was born when I began a journey to heal my inflamed and irritated skin. In my 20’s, I began experiencing cystic acne, redness, inflammation and relied on acne-targeted ingredients to help. After years of experimenting with different solutions, my skin was on a downward spiral causing pigmentation, painful breakouts and a damaged skin barrier. It got so bad, I almost went on a strong drug to see if it would help…but I found out just a few days later that I was pregnant…so I had to turn to something else.
After having my daughters, I realized that my acne was a result of internal stressors, hormone disruptors and a result of harsh stripping ingredients that promoted irritation. Over the years, I switched over to topicals that required a bit of patience and dedication. Reducing the amount of actives and fast acting products…that claimed to help but in fact made things worse. I began my journey to heal my skin.
Through changes in diet, trying to reduce stress levels and using nourishing ingredients, my body began to slowly shift. With gentle topical products, I began to point out how much I wished one product had something specific over another. A particular texture was present in another. I found herself on a quest in learning about raw ingredients that were providing my skin relief.
Ingredients like Cupuacu butter, Aloe, adaptogens, Hemp, Turmeric. Seeing, playing, smelling these incredible ingredients in their raw and natural state excited me. It ignited a passion I didn’t know existed. I began to create little jars of magic that I gave to my family. Until one day, my husband turned to me and said, “we have to share your passion with others, you can’t keep this to yourself” and so, uncompromising on quality, partnering with the right chemists that shares similar mindsets, values in sourcing and innovation…my journey is complete.
I created a brand that focuses on carefully selecting ingredients that promote healing, calming, regenerating and anti-inflammatory benefits. All of our products are designed to be all inclusive. No matter the skin type you have. Actives are kept at a certain percentage to minimize the risk of irritation. Cede Botanic was developed to be soothing and comforting. But always patch test to be safe.

Our balm cleanser Lift, currently has a very low percentage of 3 essential oils. Lavender, Clary Sage and Sandalwood. They have incredible anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and calming properties. However, they do not overwhelm the formula/aroma. You will notice a hint of lavender but the overall aroma comes from the nut oils, cupuacu butter and sea buckthorn oil.

Yes! Apply a small amount with dry or damp fingertips. In circular motions, massage your skin and watch it melt your makeup and overall debris off your skin. Add warm water and continue to massage your skin while it turns into a gentle milk. Your skin is left petal soft. No cloth needed…that is, unless you want to use one.

Protect is formulated to be used both am and/or pm. It’s gentle, full of antioxidants that help protect your skin against free radicals during the day and helps promote collagen synthesis at night. It’s an incredibly regenerative formula.

Yes you can! I have incredibly sensitive eyes and can’t handle most eye makeup removers. This cleanser was specifically formulated for my irritated eyes. It shouldn’t irritate, cause a film or residue.

Lift is 100% natural with limited waxes. Natural melting can occur if sitting out in a hot climate. Just pop it into the fridge and it’ll solidify. But remember, this formula is meant to be soft. Not waxy, hard or difficult to scoop out.
